Thanks for your interest Erin. The deal I signed for the Midnight in Paris Soundtrack did include the right to produce and distribute physical CDs, I will ask next time I get in touch with Sony if they intend to do that. In the mean time, you can by a physical CD copy of Swing 41, which includes Seul Ce Soir, which was the second piece of music you hear in the film, and occurs again as they travel to La Belle Epoque on the horse and carriage. You can also keep your eye on Amazon as I know they intend to distribute the compilation there, I don't know if that was as a CD or digital download.

Do you know if the soundtrack will be available on CD at some point, or only digitally through iTunes?

Thanks Stephanie for pointing that out. I was of course referring to the genre of music, I didn’t for a second think that Django himself was part of the soundtrack. Stephane Wrembel plays one mean guitar and it’s an honour to be on the same CD as him!

The soundtrack is beautiful! The “lovely Django Reinhardt swing” is actually NOT Django Reinhardt at all, but Stephane Wrembel. He is an incredible musician based in New York, but a native of France. “Bistro Fada” is definitely a lovely tune, and Stephane has plenty more to share…
